Today is a beautiful day full of opportunities. We have the freedom of choice today. It’s up to us to make God-honoring choices, and in that, we can trust that he is working on our behalf and the behalf of those we love.
However, if we make self-indulgent, selfish choices, we will suffer the consequences of self-defeating, self-sabotaging behavior.
We can make the extra effort to do what is good for us or fold and be miserable.
Honoring God by caring well for ourselves is not perfection, but learning how to love ourselves by seeing ourselves as God sees us, which is with endearing, unfailing love!
Don’t be fooled into thinking this task is meant to be done alone; it’s not. We must guard our hearts and invite the Holy Spirit to abound while we learn how to improve ourselves.
Is the life I described attainable? Absolutely! The first step is to begin and build from there.
