I recently had this conversation with a loved one. Maybe someone else needs to hear it today. It has sure changed my life.
“You asked me why your self-perception is why it is, and I told you the same reason you perceive others as you do, that you’re harsh on yourself and others, and when you love yourself, you can love others. When you learn and understand who Jesus is, you will accept his love for you, love yourself in the like, and, in turn, others the same way. “What we receive vertically goes out horizontally.”
“Love creates the value of a person, their own and the way they see others.” Never accept counterfeit love out of desperation. Accept Christ’s love by following Him in all you do, and you will be whole, my precious friend.
